TikTok only shows the Website field as a clickable bio link to accounts that meet its eligibility threshold. If your link saves successfully but does not render as tappable, the cause is usually account-level eligibility, not the link itself.
Fix steps
Check follower count. TikTok historically gated the bio website field at 1,000 followers. The threshold varies by region and account age. If you are under 1,000 followers, the website field may save but not render to other viewers.
Confirm you are looking at your profile in a private (non-logged-in) view. Your own profile shows the link to you even when it is hidden to viewers. Open your profile in an incognito browser tab on a desktop to see what others see.
Verify the link is in the Website field, not the Bio text. Settings and privacy → Edit profile → Website. Links typed in the 80-character bio text field render as plain, non-tappable text.
Include
https://. TikTok requires the full protocol. A bare domain will save but may not render correctly.Wait for the eligibility refresh. New accounts that cross the threshold sometimes wait 24–72 hours for the field to activate. Force-closing the app and re-logging in occasionally accelerates the refresh.
Check for restricted-region account flags. Accounts in some regions have the link field disabled regardless of follower count. The field appears in settings but the link does not render publicly. This is not user-fixable; switching to a creator marketplace account sometimes restores it.

Still not working?
If the link IS clickable but viewers complain pages "don't work" or "log them out," the link is reaching the destination through TikTok's in-app browser, which has its own cookie jar. Different problem, same symptoms.
